and as you inch closer to me
in this flickering moonlight,
i close my eyes to capture
the moments of the night...

with the rain pouring in
all the love we could not,
making us realize
this was what we had sought!

the silence of the night
been taken over by the rain,
with the droplets making noise
against the window-pane!

i guess i can see mist
forming outside,
i take shelter from the cold,
in your arms i hide...

words find it hard
to make a way out,
but your eyes say there's nothing
we need to talk about!

slowly the moon moves
away from us,
as the night gets frenzier,
i see you blush!

if it's not now,
it never can be;
you got to admit
that you love me!

the rain, the moon,
the mist, it's true;
i swear them all,
